Carolyn and Liam got married at the zoo a few weeks ago. the day started with photographers dream light and held right through the ceremony. when the sun set, the party kicked off proper, with senior year rocking the joint. with flowers by Modern Day Design, makeup by TEAM Hair and Makeup and the whole thing pulled together by Debbie Hews of Chic Events everything was spot on. and of course i’ve already mentioned the tri-tip from Rincon Catering in a previous blog post.
richard photo lab in la did the film work for me this time around. i was driving through town two days after the wedding and took the chance to swing by the lab and meet the folks in person. about a half hour out they even called and asked if i wanted a coffee. sure enough there was a nice hot cup waiting for me at the lab. have a look at some of the favorites i’ve picked out of the huge stack of beautiful pictures they sent me. i hope you enjoy.
carolyn and liam, can’t wait to show you the goods in person. thanks for including me in your fabulous day. i appreciate the confidence.

liam and carolyn are now husband and wife!
it was a great evening of beautiful wedding and rockin’ party at the santa barbara zoo. not only can the two of them get down, but they hang with one crazy bunch of funky dancers. the band Senior Year kept the music cranked and movin’ for as long as the local noise ordinances would allow.
here’s a few iPhone pics i grabbed while getting my groove as the cameras rested at the table with my half-eaten dinner.

the film is still in the fridge, but keep an eye out for more from the fantastic day. they’ll be here soon!

last saturday was a beautiful clear day in santa barbara for kim and henry’s wedding. it was a great ceremony with lots of thoughtful touches. the pastor marrying them mentioned the unique privilege of officiating the marriage of two seminary graduates. kim and henry knew exactly how they wanted it to go. turned out great.
